ig-drive privacy policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
ig-drive is a personal tool used only by its owner. It runs on the owner's own computer.
Google user data
- What it accesses: only files and folders that ig-drive itself creates in the owner's
Google Drive (the
drive.file permission). It cannot see any other file.
- How it uses it: to upload copies of posts the owner chose to keep, to check that the upload
arrived intact, and to read the folder link it then sends to the owner.
- Storage: the Google login token is kept only on the owner's computer.
- Sharing: no data is sold, shared or transferred to anyone. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
- Deletion: the owner can remove ig-drive's access at any time in their Google Account
(Security ▸ Third-party apps & services). Files ig-drive created stay in their Drive until they delete them.
ig-drive's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the

including the Limited Use requirements.
